Before founding Your Local Strategy, Matt Kakuk and Ken Klein spent over two decades building, scaling, and modernizing businesses—from the enterprise boardroom to the neighborhood storefront.
Matt Kakuk started building digital strategies for local businesses before most people could spell SEO. In 2010, he launched Local Management, one of South Florida’s first local SEO/SEM firms, earning honors like Fastest Growing Tech Company by the South Florida Business Journal and a Premier Google Partner badge. He later founded Digital Transformation Management, specializing in AI, sales automation, and CRM implementation as a Zoho Premium Partner.
Ken Klein $1+Billion in sales and 20 years in corporate media, where he scaled Comcast Spotlight’s West Palm Beach operation from $18 million to $60 million—and later led a $200 million a year SMB sales and marketing division for Comcast Advertising across the Southeast. After a high-impact run as CRO of a fast-scaling property tech startup, he joined Bet-David Consulting as VP to help founders unlock explosive growth 100%+ year over year—and eventually turned his full focus to helping local business owners win.
