Your Local Strategy is committed to making yourlocalstrategy.com usable for everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe every visitor should be able to find what they need and get in touch with us, whatever tools they use to browse the web.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. We measure the site against them and improve it on an ongoing basis.

What we are doing

• Designing for sufficient color contrast and readable text.
• Providing text alternatives for images that carry meaning.
• Labeling forms and controls so they work with assistive technology.
• Structuring pages with proper headings and landmarks.
• Testing with automated tools and fixing issues as we find them.

Accessibility is a continuing effort. Some content, including older pages, may not yet meet every guideline, and we are actively working to address those areas.
